Capturing Every Moment
Dear Adventures Team,
After spending Sunday sorting all my travel photos and updating lifestyle boards, making albums, photo and video’s DVD I spent a lot of time laughing and really reflecting on our incredible holidays. In the last 3 years I have travelled to 15 different countries.
On reflection I thought to myself how important it is to capture every moment in life. What I do on holiday’s to capture the moments is not only use my camera to take photos, but I also capture moments using the video component of the camera.
The benefits of video are enormous as it gives you a repeat live visual of what was happening including sounds in the background. For example, when going out for dinner in Venice we had a guy sing to us at the table and you can capture the atmosphere in the background.
Recently, Aaron and myself interviewed each other from a roof top night club with the Las Vegas strip in the background. We were able to share our goals and vision for our business and there was an incredible backdrop to add to the video. There are so many ways you can use video to not only capture your personal life but utilise this incredible tool for your business too.
So next time you travel or attend an event where you are taking your camera, make sure you capture the moment with a series of short video’s too.
